Essar Group to buy US's Trinity Coal for Rs 2,750 cr. Essar Minerals, Delaware, a subsidiary of the Essar Group has entered into an agreement with private equity firm Denham Capital to acquire 100 per cent ownership of US based Trinity Coal for $600 million (Rs 2,750 crore).With this, the Ruias investment and commitment in the US would cross $4 billion (Rs 18,400 crore).

Jindal sells 1.58% in JSW Steel : Vice-chairman and managing director of JSW Steel, Sajjan Jindal, diluted his stake in the company by 1.58% on March 3. In a filing to the stock exchanges, Jindal has said that he sold 3.75 lakh shares to Sun Investments for Rs 1,113 per share.
